The story behind PartnerExperts

Founder

PartnerExperts was founded by Michiel van Vliet, a long-time leader in the Microsoft partner ecosystem. He led global Microsoft services practices, held senior roles supporting enterprise partners across EMEA, and served as CEO of two Microsoft-focused services businesses. He also held multiple leadership roles within IAMCP, including President of the Spanish chapter, EMEA President, and a seat on the global board. In 2018, he authored Refresh the Road Ahead, based on interviews with 50 Microsoft Partner Award winners.

Over the last three years, Michiel has advised Microsoft partners on strategy, sales execution, portfolio, M&A, and operational improvement. A recurring barrier emerged across engagements: partners consistently under-capture incentives and funding because day-to-day execution is complex and poorly operationalized.

PartnerExperts was created to bridge that gap—combining strategic partner-growth work with the operational rigor required to manage incentives and funding reliably. The core team is based in Spain, supported by offshore delivery teams.
